Texas-Mississippi-New Mexico-Colorado!
NEW MEXICO I have to confess, I am totally in love with New Mexico! I just KNOW our wonderful creator has made that wonderful place for me to enjoy and explore! I took my first adventurous trip there one spring, about 10 years ago during a scouting trip.
That was it, Love! From the Cougar that circled our sleeping bags while we were sleeping under the open skies to the magnificent sunsets, it is a wonderful place! I Love waking up to the echo of the river flowing through the chiseled canyons. Well, maybe I do not like the rattle snake that chased me!
We have been very very blessed to get to many adventures! Several years ago, was able to go for a 2 week archaeological dig in MS, just me, my dog and my horse one spring! That same year I came home and we headed to New Mexico for some horse packin in trips for a Spring Gobbler! That was great until the fire got way too close to our camp, we had to leave! Then to Jemez springs and Pecos Wilderness and then Palo Duro Canyon! Great and rough spring trip! Two years ago, Stephen and I left Aug 23 for his NM Elk hunt! We had a blast, I flew home Sept 10th and he came home a week later(He is a Guide for Wilderness Outfitters. The next spring We were able to go on an archaeological dig together in in MS! Then we visited Moundville, Al museum and one in MS then Home! I will be posting photos soon! This year I was blessed to get to Dig in Ms again with some GREAT folk in the PIT project! We

I was very very very blessed to get to go on a 2 week USFS archaeological Dig. My road trip buddies were my horse Rhett and my dog Knight. We were staying alone in a wilderness area for 2 weeks! I got to ride Rhett each day to the site! It was SO much FUN. But Most important, I cannot say enough about the wonderful people that I met at the Dig. These volunteers are A1 top rated people! LOVE them, I love my new digging family! Thanks Sam Brooks, Robert and David!
